Real Madrid bosses were reportedly stunned after one of the club's first team stars told them he wants to leave in January.
Isco is among the team's top earners but has seen little game time recently. As a consequence, he is understood to be keen to force an exit from the Santiago Bernabeu in January.
While neither Isco nor his father were able to present an offer from any interested party, Real's bosses are believed to be shocked at the midfielder's desire to leave as they did not plan on any January changes to the playing squad.

The 28-year-old has a €700 million (R12.8 billion) release clause in his contract that is set to expire in 2022, but it is understood that Los Blancos will likely ask for an amount of between €65 million (R1.2 billion) and €70 million (R1.3 billion) for his signature.
There has been interest from Premier League clubs in the past, but many teams are currently struggling with the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic, especially with the absence of fans inside the stadium.
Sevilla could be keen on the midfielder, with coach Julen Lopetegui said to be a fan, but they will also not be able to pay the abovementioned fee.
At this rate, a loan deal could be the most feasible option, but Los Blancos would prefer a permanent transfer in order to get an immediate cash injection.
Isco has made 314 appearances for Real to date, scoring 51 goals and assisting a further 54 strikes. In this campaign, however, he has only started three games and is yet to contribute to a goal.
