While Vinicius will reportedly join up with the club for pre-season after turning 18 on 12 July, Rodrygo will only move to Spain after his 18th birthday on 9 January.
New boss Julen Lopetegui seems to be keen to bring in more new faces, though, and AS have reported that Spain international Alvaro Odriozola is destined to wear the Los Blancos shirt.
It has been claimed that Real representatives met with their Real Sociedad counterparts and agreed to a €40 million (R640 million) fee for the right-back, with only details of the payment structure still to be sorted out.
Sociedad coach Asier Garitano has admitted that Odriozola, who was given his Spain debut by Lopetegui, is likely to depart the club in this window.
"He's a top-class player who was at the World Cup," he told AS.
"I'd like to have him here next season but am realistic enough to know that top players can move to other clubs."
The 22-year-old, who made 41 appearances for Sociedad last season, would come in as competition for Dani Carvajal, while Morocco international Achraf Hakimi could be sent out on loan.
