With reports suggesting that Luka Modric wants out of Real Madrid, it is believed the Spanish giants have identified the man they could replace the Croatian superstar with.
Why Modric Wants To Leave Real Revealed?
There have been rumours the 32-year-old is interested in a move to Inter Milan in recent weeks, with his agent claiming that his client dreams of playing in Italy's top division as it is a league he grew up watching.
Modric is also said to be after a new challenge, having won everything there is to win with the Spanish giants.
Real will also only be able to call on Mateo Kovacic again in the 2019/20 season following his loan move to Chelsea, which might force their hand in the transfer window.
According to Sky Italy, Los Blancos consider Lazio's Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to be the perfect replacement for Modric.
The Serbian midfielder has impressed during his time in Italy, and also put in some positive performances at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Milinkovic-Savic is also said to be a massive fan of Los Blancos, although clubs such as Manchester United and Chelsea have reportedly been interested in his services too.

The 23-year-old has made 122 appearances for Lazio since his debut for the club in 2015, scoring 24 goals and assisting a further 20 strikes.
