New FC Barcelona superstar Philippe Coutinho has revealed what surprised him most about the club’s dressing room.
The Brazilian recently joined the Spanish giants from Liverpool after months of speculation, and has already made six appearance for the club.
The 25-year-old has talked highly about the group of players at Barca, who have welcomed him so kindly.
“The quality that there is in all the staff, it is amazing how you train, but what has surprised me most is the group that is in the locker room,” he told Mundo Deportivo.
“It is a quiet group, we received all new players very well.
Coutinho also spoke about how it feels to play with Lionel Messi and company.
“It is something very special. Not everyone has the opportunity to play with the best player in the world. This makes me very happy.
“They received me very well. They (Messi and Suarez) are two great idols and being part of the team with them is a very good feeling, but not only with them, also with Andres (Iniesta) and with the rest.
“For me it is very special to be in this changing room, in the matches, for me it is a great experience and a great opportunity to be in this club.”
Coutinho has played six times for Barca since his arrival, scoring one goal.
