Xavi Names Six Of The Best Players Of All Time
The 25-year-old became the world's second most expensive player ever in January when he completed his £142 million (R2.38 billion) move from Liverpool to the Camp Nou club.
The Brazil international has now admitted that the chance to win silverware was a big factor in his decision to move to Spain.
"Everyone knows that I wanted to come to Barcelona," he told 8tv's Fora De Joc.
"It wasn't possible in the summer, but we worked so that it could be done in winter. I really want to win big titles, it was one of the reasons that made me sign for the club.
"I want to win as many as I can, I don't have preferences."
