Philippe Coutinho Named In FC Barcelona Squad For Copa Del Rey Clash
New FC Barcelona signing Philippe Coutinho is in line to make his debut for the Catalan giants after being named in the squad for their must-win Copa del Rey clash against Espanyol on Thursday night.
The Brazilian officially put pen to paper on a deal with the Blaugrana just a week after the January transfer window opened.
Coutinho's debut for Barca has been delayed due to injury, but the 25-year-old has now been named in the Spanish giants' latest matchday squad.
The playmaker, along with another new signing in Yerry Mina, will be a part of Barca’s squad for the second leg of their Copa del Rey quarter-final against Espanyol on Thursday night, as revealed by the club on Twitter.
Manager Ernesto Valverde's side head into the clash 1-0 behind on aggregate.
