The Spanish giants signed the Belgian for a reported fee of €100 million (R1.7 billion), plus a whopping package of add-ons that could reportedly take the overall amount to about €150 million (R2.5 billion).
The 28-year-old, who is Real's second-most expensive signing ever, has signed a five-year deal with Los Blancos, who announced the mega transfer on 7 June.
Hazard was presented in front of a packed Bernabeu crowd on Thursday evening after completing a medical.
"I will speak French because I need to improve my Spanish," Hazard at his unveiling.
"I want to thank Florentino Perez, my family who are here and to those who could not make it. I am looking forward to play in this shirt and defend this club. It was always my dream as kid.
"I really want to win titles with Real Madrid. It's my dream since I was little. Thank you all".
However, the Belgium international was presented without being allocated a shirt number so far, despite many expecting him to take Cristiano Ronaldo's former No.7.
Hazard joins Real after spending seven years at Chelsea, where he scored 110 goals and assisted 92 further strikes in 352 appearances.
He lifted six trophies at Stamford Bridge, including the 2018/19 UEFA Europa League title after he was named Man of the Match in the Blues' 4-1 win over Arsenal in the final.
