Spanish giants Real Madrid giants have announced Luka Jovic as their first January departure on Thursday.
Los Blancos have been quiet in the transfer window this month so far and are not expected to make any additions to their squad.
However, the Spanish giants confirmed Jovic has re-joined his former club Eintracht Frankfurt on loan until the end of the season.
"Real Madrid CF and Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed to loan player Luka Jović until the end of this season," read the short statement on the club’s website.
The Serbian striker joined Real from Frankfurt in 2019 for a fee of €63 million (R1.1 billion), but only scored two goals in 32 appearances for the club.
Before his stint with the LaLiga champions, Jovic netted 36 goals in 75 matches for the Bundesliga side.
