The former Juventus midfielder has finally arrived in Barcelona after completing a big-money move to the Spanish giants in June.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international was signed when former Blaugrana boss Quique Setien was still in charge, but will still be looking to impress new manager Ronald Koeman.
Speaking to Barcelona's club media, the 30-year-old said: "Today is a very special day for me and I'm very happy.
"I can't wait to meet my new teammates and I'm really looking forward to the new season. I hope I can help the team to win a lot of titles.
"I'm ready and I'm going to try to do everything I can for this club."
Pjanic recently tested positive for COVID-19, but has revealed he is back to full health ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
"I feel ready and recovered. I have had a couple of weeks at home, but I have tried to stay fit. Now I'm looking forward to joining the group," he added.
