Brazilian defender Dani Alves has completed his return to FC Barcelona on a free transfer, the LaLiga club have confirmed.
The Catalan giants announced on Friday evening that the 38-year-old has completed his return to the Camp Nou after agreeing a deal in principle.
FC Barcelona and Dani Alves have reached an agreement in principle for the player to join the football first team for the remainder of the current season. The Brazilian will be joining training from next week but will not be able to play until January.
The club will announce the full details at his official presentation as a new FC Barcelona player.
Alves made 391 appearances during his first stint at the Camp Nou, where he won three UEFA Champions Leagues and six LaLiga titles to go with a number of other accolades.
