The 21-year-old forward sealed a €41 million (R635 million) move from Ligue 1 side Bordeaux to the Camp Nou on Tuesday, just one day after the French club had announced they had accepted a bid from Roma for his services.
Malcom, a Brazil youth international, has since described the move as a "dream come true" and hopes he will bring joy to the club’s supporters.
"This is a unique experience. I feel really happy. It is a dream come true to come to one of the biggest clubs in the world," he told Barca TV.
"I hope to make the fans happy. I am really looking forward to meeting my teammates, to talk to them and find out more about the way we play.
"I am really excited and in a hurry to get started. It is difficult to explain the feeling. It is a dream come true since I was young."
The former Corinthians forward made 96 appearances for Bordeaux, scoring 23 goals assisting in a further 16 strikes.
