A Manchester City star has "agreed" to join FC Barcelona in a deal which could happen this month.
Eric Garcia has been wanting to re-join the Catalan giants, but there is new hope his move could be completed in January.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the defender has agreed to a five-and-a-half year deal with the Blaugrana, while City have lowered their asking price.
Ahead of 2020/21, the Premier League side asked for €10 million (R187 million) in fee and another €10 million in add-ons, but they are now believed to have lowered their demands to €5 million (R93 million) as fee and another €5 million in variables.

In addition, City reportedly agreed for the potential fee to be paid in the next financial year only, meaning it would not affect this year’s Barcelona books, which have been stretched due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Ronald Koeman has also sanctioned a January move after deciding that bringing in a defender would be more important than adding a forward.
Interim board leader Carles Tusquets will now reportedly ask all four remaining candidates to become new Barcelona president, with elections set to be held on 24 January, about their opinion and if all four give their green light, the Blaugrana would go ahead and complete the move.
