Superstar Luis Suarez has sent a message to an FC Barcelona teammate of his who was recently in trouble for going AWOL.
Ousmane Dembele made the headlines for the wrong reasons two weeks ago, after skipping training without letting the club know of his whereabouts.
As a result, he was dropped from Barca's matchday squad for their latest league match, and has had current and former Catalan club players urge him to understand that professionalism in sport is important.
Suarez was also recently asked about the situation regarding his teammate, to which he responded by insisting the 21-year-old must learn to be more punctual and respectful.
"Ousmane knows that football is a privilege for every player, maybe he should concentrate more and be more responsible regarding certain things," the Uruguayan told reporters, according to Fox Sports.
"There are examples of professionalism at Barca that he can draw inspiration from.
"He'll continue to learn, with that self-confidence that will enable him to succeed at Barcelona."
Dembele has played 15 times for Barca so far this season, scoring six goals and assisting a further two strikes.
