The 33-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Juventus, and was even reported as agreeing personal terms with the Italian giants.

The Uruguayan is believed to prefer a move to Madrid over Turin, and his representatives are said to have started the negotiation process.
Atletico, though, reportedly first need to sell one of their strikers, and are understood to also be looking at other options, namely: Alexandre Lacazette, Raul de Tomas and Edinson Cavani.
Diego Costa is said to be first on the Rojiblancos' exit list, but there has also been talk of a potential transfer for Alvaro Morata to Juventus.
Suarez, meanwhile, could also end up staying at Barcelona due to the club's struggles in signing a new striker. Manager Ronald Koeman told the forward he is not in his plans, but the Dutchman is not against the idea of him staying if no new player comes in.
