It has been reported that football season in France will not continue after the country's prime minister Edouard Philippe officially announced that no sporting events will be allowed to take place until September, but it is a decision LaLiga's chief Javier Tebas does not feel is the right move.
"I do not understand why there would more danger in playing football behind closed doors, with all precautionary measures, than working on an assembly line, being on a fishing boat on the high seas, etc." he said in a statement, according to IOL.

"If important economic sectors cannot restart, in a safe and controlled manner, they could end up disappearing. That could happen to professional football.
