Los Blancos, who have already been crowned champions of Spain for the 2021/22 campaign, thumped the already-relegated Valencian side at the Santiago Bernabeu courtesy of goals from Ferland Mendy, Benzema, and Rodrygo, as well as a Vinicius Junior hat-trick.
Real bounced back from their El Derbi Madrileno defeat to Atletico Madrid in style as Vinicius scored his first-ever hat-trick for the club, but the Brazilian shared the headlines with his French teammate after Benzema once again cemented his place in the Los Merengues history books.
The French-Algerian is now the joint-second highest goalscorer of all time for the record European champions having netted his 323rd goal for the club against Levante. That strike puts him level with former Spain international and Real captain Raul.
Benzema is still 127 goals shy of the record held by Cristiano Ronaldo, with the Portuguese having netted an incredible 450 goals during his nine-year stay in the Spanish capital.
The Frenchman's goal was the 27th of this LaLiga campaign and his 44th in 44 appearances across all competitions for Ancelotti's men.
His goals have already helped Real secure the league title and the Supercopa de Espana this season, and the Bernabeu faithful will be hoping their marksman will be able to replicate his form against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League final on 28 May.
Raul and Benzema shared just one season together in the 2009/10 campaign before the Spaniard left for Schalke.
