The Catalans came from behind to take the lead at Osasuna, thanks to goals from second-half substitutes Ansu Fati and Arthur.
Ernesto Valverde's side had seemingly done enough to ensure their first win on the road this season, but it was not to be as the referee awarded a penalty to the home side when Pique was adjudged to have used his hand in the Osasuna box.
According to Sport, who cite various reports, the former Spain international lost his cool as he headed down the tunnel after the game, and continued to vent his anger in the dressing room.

Pique reportedly kicked the wall of the changing room, leaving stud marks on it, although his protests were in vain, just as they were on the field.
The 32-year-old spoke about the controversial decision following the 2-2 draw, suggesting it is impossible to jump in the air without naturally using your arms for elevation.
"I would like to see refs try to jump with their hands down," he told reporters.
"I can't cut off my arms and also if it doesn't hit me in the arm, it hits me in the face.
"At the beginning of the season, referees said lots of things to us. The distance of the ball when it struck the attacker. It was very clear that, to me, it was not a penalty."
