FC Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has commented on Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane's refusal to let his men give their rivals a guard of honour in the upcoming El Clasico.
The Los Blancos boss recently insisted that his players will not give the Catalan club a guard of honour in El Clasico next month.
The two rivals will go head to head at the Camp Nou on 6 May, when Ernesto Valverde's side will have likely wrapped up the LaLiga title already.
Asked about Zidane's comments recently, Pique came up with a rather sarcastic response.
"I'm not going to sleep tonight," he told Movistar Partidazo.
There was controversy around the same topic in December, when Cristiano Ronaldo called for the Blaugrana to give Real a guard of honour in the first Clasico of the season after the Madrid side won the FIFA Club World Cup.
The Catalan club refused, however, as they felt it was unnecessary because they did not play in the competition.
Do you think that if Barca have won LaLiga by then, Real should give them a guard of honour? Let us know in the comments section below.
