The 28-year-old has started the 2020/21 Premier League campaign with a bang, scoring a hat-trick in Liverpool's 4-3 win over newly promoted Leeds United on the weekend.
However, a close friend of new Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has insisted the Dutchman would like to take Salah to the Camp Nou, and that the player is interested in the move too.
"I know Koeman wants him – and I know Salah would like to go," former Netherlands international Sjaak Swart told voetbalzone.nl.

When pressed for the source of his claims, Swart added: "I can't. I am not going into any more details, but just believe me that I know."
Salah has been linked with a move to both LaLiga giants, Barcelona and Real Madrid, in the past.
However, it remains to be seen if the Blaugrana could even fund such a massive transfer, with Liverpool expected to request between €150 million (R2.9 billion) and €200 million (R3.9 billion) for the Egypt superstar.
Salah, who also became the first Liverpool player to score in the opening league game of the season in four successive campaigns with his trio of strikes against Leeds, has netted 97 times and assisted another 41 goals in 154 appearances for the Reds to date.
