It has been reported that one of the players Real Madrid have lined up to replace Cristiano Ronaldo has been made FC Barcelona's main transfer target ahead of next season.
With Ronaldo's move to Juventus having been confirmed on Tuesday, Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard is now reportedly at the top of Los Blancos' transfer wish list, along with likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
According to Sport, however, Hazard is also being heavily chased by rivals Barca, who see the 27-year-old Belgium captain as their main target.
The Catalan giants are reportedly looking to bring in a number of reinforcements ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, with a view to giving Ernesto Valverde a more complete squad than he had last season, perhaps to give them a better chance of winning the UEFA Champions League.
The Blaugrana initially wanted to bring Antoine Griezmann in from Atletico Madrid, but with the Frenchman committing himself to his club, they have had to turn their attention elsewhere.
Hazard is yet to commit to a new deal at Chelsea, and with his current deal expiring in 2020, Barca apparently feel they have a chance of luring him to Spain.
The Belgian has represented Chelsea on 300 occasions so far, scoring 89 goals and assisting a further 75 strikes.
