An FC Barcelona star has urged one of the club's former players to return to the Camp Nou following his exit in 2013.
Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara has been heavily linked with an exit from the German giants, who are said to be willing to let him leave in this transfer window.
Blaugrana goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has joined a host of Barca players who would be happy to see Thiago back at the club, saying he would be the perfect fit for the team.
"I would like to have Thiago at Barca," he told Bild.
"His playing style suits us and from our viewpoint, he is an interesting player.
"Thiago is a special type of player. He definitely would offer us different possibilities. If a transfer happened, it would be brilliant both for him and for us.”
The Spaniard made 100 appearances for the Blaugrana between 2011 and 2013, but failed to fully establish himself in the side as he was competing for a position in central midfield with Andres Iniesta and Xavi Hernandez.
