An FC Barcelona star has commented on Zinedine Zidane's return to LaLiga giants Real Madrid, while commenting his side's UEFA Champions League quarter-final draw against Manchester United.
Zidane became the club's third manager of the 2018/19 season after Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari, taking over the reins at Los Blancos just 10 months after initially resigning from his post at Real.
In discussing the 46-year-old's return to the Spanish giants, five-time LaLiga winner Sergi Roberto claimed that the 1998 FIFA World up winner's return to Los Blancos came as a surprise.
"His return surprised me," he told Marca.
"I don't think anybody expected it, but they've decided to make Zidane their coach.
"He has brought them many titles, but we have to focus on our own business and on finishing the season off well.
Having being drawn against Premier League side United in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, the 27-year-old concluded that the Blaugrana aren't favourites for the title, which they last won in the 2014/15 edition of the tournament.
"We're not favourites (in the Champions League), not at all.
"All teams are favourites now. Any team can fall, as we've already seen, and any opponent will be difficult.
"Right now we're in the final of the Copa del Rey and in a good position in the league, although there is a long way to go.
"We've gone through in the Champions League, so the dream of a treble is still possible. It'd be a dream for us and we'll fight to the end to try to achieve it," he added.
Roberto also weighed in with his thoughts on five-time Ballon d'Or winning duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi coming up against one another in the UEFA Champions League final.
"They've met in the past and if they meet again then it'll be one more,"
"The important thing is that we've made it through."
Roberto has made 30 appearances for Barcelona in all this season, finding the back of the net once, while being on hand to register six assists.
