One of FC Barcelona's key players has admitted he would love to have Atletico Madrid and France forward Antoine Griezmann join him at the Camp Nou.
Defender Samuel Umtiti, a 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, has missed a lot of football this season through injury, but was still called up to the latest France squad by Les Bleus boss Didier Deschamps.
There, the centre-back reunited with countryman and friend Griezmann, whom he claimed would suit the Catalan club in a recent interview.
"Would I be happy if they told me Griezmann was joining Barcelona? Yes. Would he fit in here? Yes. Have I spoken about it with him? No, absolutely not," Umtiti said, according to Sport.
"I know he's very happy in Madrid and that things are going well. Atletico is a team which plays for him. In our career, we have to make decisions we later regret, I don't know.
"He's happy there, although he could play for any side in the world. The most important thing is that he's happy."
Griezmann very publicly rejected a move to the LaLiga champions last season, but has since been linked with them again.
