Many supporters were concerned about Suarez's form this past season, despite him finishing the campaign as the second highest goalscorer in LaLiga.
It was perhaps in the UEFA Champions League that the Uruguayan disappointed most, as he has in Barca's past three UCL campaigns. The former Liverpool man has struck just five times in 29 UCL matches since the 2016/17 season.
The Blaugrana are said to be in search of a forward who can provide competition for the 32-year-old, with Sport reporting that Arsenal duo Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette are options for the club.
While the latter has been linked with the LaLiga giants heavily in recent weeks, the former's name seems to be on Barca's radar for the first time.
Germany international and RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner also appears to be on their shortlist again, as does Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic, who appears to be closer to signing for rivals Real Madrid.
The Serbian was said to be close to joining Los Blancos a few weeks ago, but there has been no update in this regard.
