A former FC Barcelona player has suggested that one of Real Madrid's struggling stars this season would do well at the Blaugrana.
Isco has made 134 appearances for Los Blancos over the past three seasons, and started in both their past two UEFA Champions League final appearances, but has fallen out of favour in this campaign.
The 26-year-old has not been in the starting XI in any of the six games new head coach Santiago Solari has taken charge of, and was not even in the matchday squad for Real's 2-0 win at AS Roma in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
As a consequence, Isco has been linked with moves to the likes of Juventus and Manchester City, but former Barcelona player Sergi Barjuan believes he would fit in well at the Camp Nou.
"I don't know how each coach manages their starting line-up and back-ups, but it's true that coaches are there to take decisions. Solari took a decision," he told Radio MARCA.
"From Barcelona's point of view, he (Isco) is a player who could interest them because he plays with touch and can link up with people well.
"With this, we're speaking a little bit in a joking manner.
"In the end, the season is long and Real Madrid will have a lot of matches and will need everyone."
