Following reports that the FC Barcelona board is unhappy with starlet Ousmane Dembele's attitude, one of the club's officials has addressed the matter.
'Barca Made A Mistake, Mbappe Wanted To Play With Messi'
Dembele was absent from training last week Thursday without warning, leading many to believe his ill-discipline will be the cause of him failing to reach his potential in Spain.
It was reported this week that Barca held a meeting with his agents to discuss the recent incident, but general sporting manager Pep Segura has explained that he understands Dembele might be struggling to adapt to life at the Catalan club.
"There is no problem with Dembele," he said told Cadena SER.
"Yes, we had a meeting, just like yesterday I met with three other representatives, but it's normal, it's part of my job, they're natural things.
"Dembele is very young and has never had to make an effort like the one he is doing now to adapt to Barca's game.
"We recognise that it is hard for him and he also recognises it, but we're working to change this situation as quickly as possible."
