FC Barcelona striker Martin Braithwaite has sent a warning to his teammates at the Camp Nou.
As the Blaugrana prepare for the return of LaLiga, which is set to resume on 12 June, the club's most recent signing seems to have made the most of the coronavirus lockdown.
Braithwaite, who was largely viewed as a panic buy when he arrived at the Camp Nou in February, has shared his ambition and desire to become a club legend, which some have interpreted to be a warning for the likes of Luis Suarez, among others.
"There isn't a single player who works as hard or trains as hard as I do; physically, nobody can beat me," Braithwaite told Marca.
"I want to become a legend."
The club's coaching staff have reportedly been impressed with Braithwaite and how he's adapted to the team's playing style, as well as his physical conditioning.
Facing stiff competition from Suarez, Ansu Fati, and Antoine Griezmann, who are all set to be available for selection when the 2019/20 LaLiga campaign resumes, the Danish striker will be hoping for a starting spot alongside Lionel Messi when football returns.
