Barca Offered 'Endless List' Of Players To Sign

Barcelona have reportedly been offered an "endless list" of players to sign at the end of the season, with the names of a few of those stars having now seemingly been revealed.

Acquiring players for free once their contracts expire seems to have become a strategy for the financially-struggling Catalan club, after the likes of Memphis Depay, Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia arrived for free last year.

Several agents around the world appear to be aware that Barcelona could continue along this path, at least in the short term, with president Joan Laporta aiming to get the Blaugrana back on track.

Mundo Deportivo has reported that an "endless" number of players have been offered to the Spanish giants ahead of next season, including Manchester United forward Edinson Cavani.

The 34-year-old was strongly linked with Barca earlier in this January transfer window until interim manager Ralf Rangnick revealed that he had convinced the Uruguayan to stay in England until his deal expires.

Here are the 10 most expensive transfers of this January window so far:

Xavi Hernandez, who was appointed as manager towards the end of last year, is said to be prioritising the signing of a new forward, with Luuk de Jong's loan deal at the club only running until June.

Arsenal No. 9 Alexandre Lacazette is said to be another option for the former Al-Sadd head coach, along with former Chelsea frontman Diego Costa, who recently became a free agent after being released by Atletico Mineiro.

Not only have Barca been offered players who could leave their current clubs for free in 2022, but also a few stars whose teams appear ready to get rid of them for a number of different reasons.

Chelsea's Timo Werner is one such player named on the list by the abovementioned Spanish publication, as is under-fire Gunners forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who, since becoming the team's best-paid player, has suffered a dramatic decline in form.
