Veteran Andres Iniesta, who was linked with a shock move away from FC Barcelona recently, has now revealed the one thing that will see him stay at the Camp Nou.
Many have been surprised by rumours linking Iniesta with a transfer to China in the coming months, with some supporters, during the Blaugrana's latest LaLiga match, begging him to stay before he came on as a second-half substitute.
The Spaniard has been open about the fact that he is considering a move away from the club, and has now insisted he will only stay at Barca if he feels physically able to compete at the highest level for another season.
"I haven't made a decision 100%," he told El Larguero.
"I won't change my mind based on what one person or another says to me. The decision I make will be based on what I feel. If I stay, it's to be at 200%, like I always have been.
"If I don't, it's because I am not at the 200% the club deserve from me. It's the only doubt I have."
Iniesta also admitted he would never join a team that plays in the same competitions as the Catalan giants.
"I wouldn't go to a place where I would compete against Barca, it would not be right," he added.
"But all scenarios where Barca don't compete are possible."
Iniesta has won every trophy possible at club and international level, and is widely considered one of the best midfielders of his generation.
