The Spanish giants have been rather quiet in the transfer windows over the past few seasons, but that will reportedly change after the current campaign, according to rumours coming out of the club.
President Florentino Perez is keen to bring new "Galactico" faces to the Santiago Bernabeu, and as a consequence, some big names could be on their way out to make up some extra cash.
Gareth Bale seems to be among the first names on Real's axe list after failing to reach the heights expected of the club-record signing. The Welshman was expected to reach the level of superstar Cristiano Ronaldo but has shown that sort of quality on too few occasions. In addition, his time at the Bernabeu has been interrupted by constant injuries. With clubs in England understood to be keen on his signature, Real are prepared to sell him in the coming window, according to AS.
Isco is another of the team's big names mentioned by the Spanish publication. Despite his unquestionable talent, which he showed off with a hat-trick in Spain's 6-1 thrashing of Argentina, he has slipped down the pecking order under Zidane. The 25-year-old has since stated that his national team coach is giving him more confidence than Zidane, which has been interpreted by some as a hint that he could leave the club.
Mateo Kovacic is the third first-team regular who could be on his way out. He has shown glimpses of his class many times, but also struggles to maintain a permanent spot in Zidane's side. As a result, the club could reportedly be prepared to cash in on him if a good offer arrives.
Other names linked with exits are squad players who failed to shine in Zidane's "B" side this campaign, namely Achraf Hakimi, Jesus Vallejo, Marcos Llorente, Borja Mayoral and Dani Ceballos.
