In his first press conference as Barcelona manager, Quique Setien admitted that the club could look to bring a new striker to the Camp Nou following Luis Suarez's long-term injury.
Sport reported that the 61-year-old's primary target is Valencia and Spain forward Rodrigo, although there are a number of other options Setien and the club might explore.
It has been suggested that if the LaLiga leaders fail to sign the abovementioned 28-year-old, who was once on the books of Real Madrid, they could turn to in-form Monaco striker Wissam Ben Yedder.
The France international joined the Ligue 1 giants from Sevilla in August last year, and has since scored 14 goals and assisted a further seven strikes in 21 matches for the club.
Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has also previously been mentioned as a potential target, as has Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez and Paris Saint-Germain's Edinson Cavani.
Suarez is reportedly only expected to return to fitness in April, after picking up a knee injury against Atletico Madrid two weeks ago.
