A current Real Madrid star and a former Los Blancos player have reportedly become the latest footballers to have their salaries leaked.
Whistleblowing website Football Leaks, who have released the contract details of a number of the Madrid-based club's players over the past few months, have now revealed how much money Dani Carvajal has been making at Real, as well as what former Los Blancos midfielder Nuri Sahin earned at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Carvajal reportedly earned €1.7 million (R29 million) in his first season with Real in 2013, with yearly increases set to see that figure rise to €2.5 million (R42 million) a year by 2019.
However, it must be noted that the Spaniard recently extended his contract with Los Blancos until 2020, so the terms of his deal with the club may have changed in those discussions.
Sahin reportedly earned €5.4 million (R92 million) at Real, and if he had been nominated for the FIFA Ballon d'Or during his time in Spain, that figure would have risen to €7.4 million (R126 million).
The Turkey international reportedly also had several other bonus clauses in his contract, but because he only played 10 times for Real, they were never triggered.
Other footballers who have found their contract information leaked online include Gareth Bale, Radamel Falcao and Anthony Martial.
