Madrid sit at the top of the La Liga table, while Malaga are 19th, having failed to pick up a victory from their first five outings.
In 30 previous meetings between the two, Malaga have secured just one win, beating Real Madrid 3-2 during the 2012-13 season.
Los Blancos have 23 wins against Malaga, while just six matches have resulted in draws and since their sole defeat to Malaga, Real have secured five straight wins.
This match is known for its aggression, seven red cards have come in the last 15 meetings between the two sides, including two for Malaga in a 6-2 loss in 2013.
Malaga’s heaviest loss to Real came in 2011 when then were crushed 7-0 by the Spanish giants.
In teams news, Real will be without Sergio Ramos, Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Brazilian right-back Danilo. Malaga have a number of injury concerns, but could see striker Nordin Amrabat return to the side this weekend.
