Sevilla's fine start to the season continued, as they recorded a 1-0 win over Real Betis at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán on Tuesday evening.
The game's only goal arrived after 51 minutes courtesy of a strike from Gabriel Mercado.
The win moved the Europa League champions up to second in the La Liga table, while Betis remain 13th spot.
Malaga 2-1 Eibar
Malaga came from behind to secure a 2-1 win over Eibar at the Estadio La Rosaleda on Tuesday evening.
The visitors took the lead after 42 minutes through, before Malaga hit back through Sandro Ramirez and Yousseff En Nesyri.
Malaga moved up to 12th after the victory, while Eibar remain in seventh spot.
