Granada 1-3 Villarreal
Villarreal continued their impressive start to the season, after they secured a 3-1 win over Granada on Sunday afternoon.
Manuel Trigueros handed the Yellow Submarines the lead in the 49th minute, before Cedric Bakambu rounded a couple defenders before firing into the roof of the net in the 51st minute.
Granada did reduced the deficit in the 74th minute courtesy of a strike from Fran Rico, although Samuel did seal the win for Villarreal in stoppage time.
Atheltic Bilbao 3-1 Getafe
Atheltic Bilbao secured their first win of the season, with a 3-1 victory over Getafe on Sunday afternooon.
Bilbao raced into a two-goal lead thanks to strikes from Aritz Aduriz and new signing Raul Garcia, before Valezquez reduced the deficit in the 70th minute.
However, the three points were sealed in the 83rd when Aduriz rose highest to head Benat's cross for his second of the game.
Celta Vigo 3-3 Las Palmas
Newly promoted, Las Palmas, came from behind to secure a thrilling 3-3 draw with Celta Vigo on Sunday evening.
Goals from Orellana and Wass handed Celta a two-goal lead, before Sergio Araújo pulled one back in the 23rd minute.
Nolito restored Celta's two-goal advantage in the 48th minute, however strikes from Las Palmas' Araujo and David Simón ensured both sides earned a share of the spoils.
Malaga 0-0 Eibar
Malaga are still searching for their first win of the season, after they were held to a goalless draw by Eibar in the final game on Sunday night.
