The match is scheduled to get underway at 20h30.

Diego Simeone's men come into this clash on the back of two successive defeats, losing to Villarreal in the league, before going down at home to Benfica in the Champions League.

Atletico's loss to Villarreal has seen them drop to fifth in the La Liga standings but could rise as high as second with victory.

Los Rojiblancos have been dealt a blow, as star midfielder, Koke, has been ruled out of the derby through injury.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, will be hoping to return to winning ways after they were held to goalless draw by Malaga in their last La Liga clash.

There is positive news on the injury front for Rafael Benitez, as Gareth Bale and Sergio Ramos have been declared fit and are available for selection.

In head-to-head statistics, Real Madrid have picked up 31 wins compared to just eight for Atletico, while 13 matches have ended all square.
