Goals from Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez helped FC Barcelona come from behind to secure a 2-1 win over Sevilla on Sunday evening.
Luis Enrique made once change from the team that lost to Manchester City, as Denis Suarez came in for Andre Gomes.
Sevilla broke the deadlock after 15 minutes when Vitolo calmly slotted past Marc-Andre Ter Stegen from close range, after Sergi Roberto was caught ball-watching.
The home side should have doubled their advantage after 30 minutes when Luciano Vietto outmuscled Javier Mascherano, before dragging his effort wide of the upright from close range.
The Catalan giants eventually leveled matters just before the halftime break, as Neymar skipped past a couple challenges before teeing up Messi, who placed the ball into the bottom corner.
Barcelona nearly took the lead after 53 minutes, as Messi latched onto a fine flick from Suarez, before forcing Sergio Rico into a superb save.
The visitors were not to be denied on the hour mark, as Messi turned provider to pick out Suarez, who fired home a low effort from close range, 2-1.
Enrique opted for a change for the final 15 minutes, as Gomes replaced Ivan Rakitic as the Catalan giants looked to close out the victory.
Barcelona pushed for a third goal but were unable to breach the Sevilla defence once again, as the score remained 2-1 at the full-time whistle.
The victory sees Enrique's charges move back up to second spot, two points adrift of Real Madrid.
