FC Barcelona had to settle for second place, despite coming back from two goals down to secure a 4-2 win over Eibar on the final day of the season.
It was Eibar who took a surprising lead after just seven minutes as Takashi Inui, who was left in acres of space, fired home at the far post.
Barca had the ball in the back of the net after 15 minutes but Jordi Alba was flagged offside in the build-up.
After a quiet spell, the home side upped the tempo after 30 minutes and went close through the likes of Suarez and Ivan Rakitic.
Yoel came to Eibar's rescue in the 37th minute, as he produced a superb save to deny Luis Suarez in a one-on-one situation.
Eibar could have doubled their lead on the stroke of halftime, but Ruben Pena fired wide from six-yards out as the score remained 1-0 at the break.

Barca were made to rue that miss in the 61st minute as Takashi Inui completed his brace with a superb volley from just inside the box, 0-2.
Luis Enrique's charges did reduce the deficit two minutes later through David Junca's own goal, after Neymar had hit the upright.
Barca were then awarded a penalty after 70 minutes when Neymar was brought down. Messi stepped up but saw his spot-kick saved by Yoel.
However, the hosts were not to be denied three minutes later when Suarez fired home close range to restore parity on the night.
The Catalan giants were awarded another penalty in the 75th minute after Neymar was brought down by Ander Capa, who was sent off. Messi stepped up again and converted the spot-kick this time around, 3-2.
Enrique's charges managed to add a fourth goal in stoppage time as Messi grabbed his second goal to round off a fine comeback.
