Full Time: Real Madrid 0-0 Malaga
Date: 26 September 2015
Venue: Santiago Bernabéu
Real Madrid played to a goalless draw against Malaga at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Spanish La Liga on Saturday night.
The home side started positively with their first attempt on goal in the sixth minute when Cristiano Ronaldo fired inches wide from just inside the box.
Two minutes later Ronaldo did find the back of the net, but his goal was disallowed for off-sides.
Malaga struggled to get hold of the ball and only had their first decent shot on goal on the half hour mark when Juan Carlos fired wide from the edge of the box.
Madrid had the last say of the half when Isco got on the end of a cross from Marcelo, but he steered his effort wide of the target on the stroke of half-time
Three minutes into the second half Ronaldo struck the side-netting from 16-yards out with the goal at his mercy.
On the hour mark Malaga’s keeper, Idriss Carlos Kameni, made a great save to deny Luka Modic from close range.
Malaga were reduced to ten men in the 77th minute when Moroccan Nordin Amrabat was shown a straight red card for a dangerous tackle.
Despite having a man extra Madrid could not take advantage and had to settle for a share of the spoils as the match ended goalless.
