Spanish La Liga

Starting XI: Villarreal v Barca

Copa Del Rey

Teams: Villarreal V Monaco

Venue: Estadio El Madrigal

Villarreal will be hoping to turn the tie around on Wednesday night in the Spanish Copa Del Rey Semi-Final, as Barcelona head in to the clash with a 3-1 lead on aggregate.

The game is scheduled for 9PM.

The Yellow Submarines rested seven players against Carlo Ancelotti’s men, when they held Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw, and will look a much stronger outfit when they host Spanish giants Barcelona.

Villarreal will be without captain, Bruno Soriano, and Antonio Rukavina, as both players are being treated for their respective injuries. Bojan Jokic and Adrian Marin will also miss the all-important clash.

The Dos Santos brothers are both likely to feature against their former club, while the in-form Luciano Vietto will lead the line against the Catalan club, who’ve shown great interest in his services.

Luis Enrique’s men will be hoping to cement their spot in the final, and they still have hopes of winning the treble, as they’re in a good position to progress in the Champions League, and are only two points behind Real in the league.

Barcelona have no injury problems heading in to the game, but Marc Ter Stegen could continue his cup run by starting over Claudio Bravo.

The Spanish giants have won nine of their last 10 games against Villarreal in all competitions, and have won their last seven in the Copa del Rey.

Here is how the teams will line up:

Villarreal: Asenjo, Mario, Musacchio, Ruiz, J.Costa, J.Dos Santos, Pina, Trigueros, Cheryshev, Vietto, Uche

Barcelona: Ter Stegen, Montoya, Piqué, Mascherano, Alba, Sergio, Iniesta, Suárez, Messi, Neymar, Rafinha

Do you believe Villarreal has what it takes to turn the tie around on Wednesday night?
