Reports: Real Madrid Want African Superstar
Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly lining up an offer for an in-form African superstar.
Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah, who won the BBC African Footballer of the Year award on Monday night, has been in terrific form this season.
The Egyptian has put in some great performances in his debut season for the Reds, so much so that there is now said to be interest from 12-time UEFA Champions League winners Los Blancos.
According to Don Balon, Zinedine Zidane is reportedly looking to lure the former Chelsea and Roma player to Spain.
It has been claimed that Real are willing to offer Lucas Vazquez as part of a swap deal in order to help their case, although it is unclear whether or not the Merseyside club will let their winger leave cheaply.
The 25-year-old was signed from Roma for about £37.8 million (R672 million), and so far, his return has been superb.
Salah has played 24 times for Liverpool this season, scoring 19 goals and assisting a further six strikes.
