Real Madrid star James Rodriguez reportedly clashed with the referee during a tunnel bust-up after his side’s 3-0 defeat to Argentina.
The Colombia captain, who has been experiencing a tricky start to the season at Real, was reportedly furious with referee Roddy Zambrano after the game.
Rodriguez was seemingly upset with the match official, confronting him after leaving the pitch in tunnel and the verbal attack of the 25-year-old has been caught by security cameras inside the stadium.
Rodriguez was allegedly already clashing with Sevilla’s Argentine defender Gabriel Mercado on the pitch, swearing at his opponent after being caught by a hard tackle.
Both players got into an argument and were booked by the referee and James’ aggressive rant after the game earned him a second yellow card, which means he is suspended for Colombia’s next game against Bolivia.
After the 3-0 defeat, Colombia dropped to sixth place in the South American 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification outside the qualification spots.
