Reports: Real Madrid Furious With Superstar?
Spanish giants Real Madrid are said to be preparing to sell one of their superstar players following reports that they are fed up with him.
Winger Gareth Bale picked up his 13th injury in a Real shirt recently, with new reports suggesting he could miss Wales' upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
According to Diario Gol, president Florentino Perez is said to have had enough of Bale's recurring injury struggles, and as a result, is prepared to let him leave at the end of the season.
It is believed that Manchester United would be favourites to sign the 28-year-old, with Jose Mourinho a known admirer of the player.
As per Transfermarkt, the winger missed 30 matches last season for Los Blancos, and is yet to get through a season injury-free since joining the Spanish giants in 2013.
It initially appeared that Bale was simply being rested for his club's latest La Liga match against Espanyol, with manager Zinedine Zidane even saying the player was going to meet up with his national team this week.
It now seems the attacker will be sidelined for Wales' clashes against Georgia and Republic of Ireland.
