UEFA Europa League winners Manchester United will reportedly pick up their pursuit of Real Madrid's Gareth Bale if the following happens.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Red Devils are waiting to see if the Wales international is benched for the UEFA Champions League final this weekend.
There are reports floating around that Spanish midfielder Isco may start ahead of Bale in the decider against Juventus on Saturday.
The former Tottenham Hotspur star has been plagued with injuries this season, which has seen him being relegated to the bench, especially as Isco has impressed during his absence.
Zinedine Zidane has shown faith in youth during this campaign, having given game time to Isco, Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez where he can.
The Red Devils are desperate to improve their squad for next season, and feel that Bale fits the profile they are looking for.
The Welsh star has been working hard in order to be fit for the UCL final that will be held in his homeland, but there is no indication yet as to whether or not Zidane will start him in the match.
The 27-year-old made only 26 appearances for Los Blancos this season, scoring nine goals.
