Reports: FC Barcelona Monitoring These Four Stars
FC Barcelona are said to be keeping a close eye on these four Bundesliga players.
The Catalan club's international adviser, Ariedo Braida, was reportedly in Germany watching a match between Schalke 04 and Bayer Leverkusen recently, and was said to be taking notes on certain players.
According to Mundo Deportivo, he was in attendance to watch Schalke midfielders Leon Goretzka and Maximillian Meyer, as well as Leverkusen's Julian Brandt and Benjamin Henrichs.
None of the players above are older than 22 years of age, and could be starlets the Spanish giants are looking to buy due to the promise they have shown.
Goretzka was believed to have reached an agreement in principle to join Bayern Munich, but new reports suggest Barca are looking to hijack the move.
Winger Brandt and fullback Henrichs have been regular fixtures in the Leverkusen side in recent times, while Meyer (22) has been making his name in Germany since he was a teenager.
The Blaugrana have reportedly been monitoring Meyer since the U17 European Championship in 2012.
