FC Barcelona star Luis Suarez set a new La Liga record in his side's 8-0 thumping of Deportivo La Coruna on Wednesday.
Last season's league champions got back to winning ways following a run of three straight defeats in all competitions.
Suarez found the back of net on four occasions against Deportivo, while Ivan Rakitic, Lionel Messi, Marc Bartra and Neymar also got on the score sheet.
The Uruguayan also registered three assists along with his four strikes, becoming the first La Liga player in the 21st century to have a hand in seven goals in a single match.
The former Liverpool striker also equalled Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo's record of six hat-tricks this season.
The Blaugrana's victory keeps them at the top of La Liga, although Atletico Madrid remain level on points following their 1-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao.
