FC Barcelona manager, Luis Enrique has responded to claims that the Catalan giants have failed to protect Lionel Messi from injury.
The Argentine forward limped off in the second half of Barcelona's 1-1 draw with Aletico Madrid and has now been ruled out for three weeks.
The Argentina national coach, Edgardo Bauza accused the club of failing to take of Messi, who is now likely to miss the international break.
"The only reality of the situation is that everyone is looking out for the best for the player," Enrique said at his press conference.
"Whenever a player is injured it's bad news. That the best player in the world is injured is bad news for everyone, not just for Barcelona.
"Apart from that, I'm not going to get involved in these matters that muddy football."
