An in-form FC Barcelona travel to Celta Vigo on Wednesday night, as they look to keep their 100% record in La Liga going.
Spanish La Liga
Teams: Celta Vigo Vs Barcelona
Time: 8:00 PM
The Catalan side will be without Thomas Vermaelen, Rafinha and Claudio Bravo for the tie on Wednesday, but will be boosted by the return of Gerard Pique in defence.
After Luis Enrique rested Andres Iniesta and Luis Suarez in their 4-1 win over Levante, both stars come back into the starting line-up.
Celta’s Jonny is still suspended for the clash against the Spanish giants, while Ruben Blanco is another absentee for the home side.
The home side haven’t lost a match so far this season, having won three and drawn one from their four La Liga matches, scoring an impressive 10 goals along the way.
Head-to-head, Barcelona have won eight of their last 10 league matches against Celta, though the home side have not lost a La Liga match from their previous nine.
Celta winger, Nolito has been his side’s stand out player so far with four goals in as many games, which could have been inspired by the rumours linking him with a move to the Catalan giants.
Barcelona’s top scorer this far is Lionel Messi, with six goals in eight games across all competitions for his team.
Here’s how the sides will line-up:
Celta: Álvarez; Planas, Cabral, Mallo, Fontàs; Wass, Fernández; Orellana, Hernández, Nolito; Aspas
Barcelona: Ter Stegen; Alves, Piqué, Mascherano, Mathieu; Busquets, Sergi Roberto, Iniesta; Messi, Suárez, Neymar
