Ronaldo And Co Run Riot Against Eibar

La Liga
Result: Real Madrid 4-0 Eibar
Date: 9 April 2016
Venue: Santiago Bernabeu
Real Madrid outclassed Eibar in their La Liga clash on Saturday as they knocked four past them for a 4-0 win.
Los Blancos were off to a flying start as they netted the first goal in only the fifth minute. James Rodriguez was the man who provided the magic touch as he curled a free kick over the wall and in off the post, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.
Zinedine Zidane's men were all over Eibar and doubled their advantage in the 18th minute. Isco instigated the attack with a through-ball for Cristiano Ronaldo, and the winger brushed off his defender before unselfishly setting up Lucas Vazquez who slotted it.
Real were merciless as they scored their third a mere minute after their second. Jese was played through on the right and he rolled the ball across for Ronaldo who was in position for the simplest of finishes.
The goals continued to flow just before the interval as the result was put beyond doubt by Jese. Some excellent build-up play from the hosts saw Ronaldo get into the area before finding Jese who placed his finish with composure.
Ronaldo came close to completing his brace after the break when he was free inside the box and was found with a cross from Isco, but the Eibar goalkeeper pulled off a great save from his header.
In the 78th minute Real should have been five goals clear. A ball in from Lucas fell for Ronaldo, but he just couldn't direct the ball into the back of the empty net, sending it just wide.
Eibar came agonisingly close to finding a consolation goal with 10 minutes left. Borja Baston got on the end of a cross but his headed attempt came off the underside of the bar.
