Real Score Late Winner At Las Palmas

Real Madrid edged out Las Palmas 2-1 thanks to an 89th-minute winner in their La Liga clash on Sunday night.
Los Blancos were a bit sloppy at the back in the first 10 minutes which allowed Las Palmas to get a shot away but Navas made a good save low down.
Real had a chance of their own in the 23rd minute. Luka Modric crafted the opportunity in midfield as he released Cristiano Ronaldo with a pass but The Portuguese's finish was parried away by the home goalkeeper.
The first goal arrived a mere minute later as Sergio Ramos opened the scoring. The Real defender rose high at the near post to plant a powerful header into the back of the hosts' net.
Las Palmas had an opening to level matters when Montoro angled a ball over the top of the Real defence. Nili kept his composure under pressure to square for Willian Jose but his shot was blocked.
Gareth Bale came close to doubling the traveling side's lead in the 71st minute. The Welshman hammered a shot from long range but it zinged past the post to the relief of the goalkeeper.
The equaliser arrived for Las Palmas in the 87th minute as former Real man Willian Jose running onto Momo's pass and slotting it past Navas.
However, only two minutes later Zinedine Zidane's charges produced the winning strike. Casemiro headed home at the far post after Jese picked him out with a pin-point corner kick.
A silly challenge from Ramos in stoppage time saw him sent off with a second yellow card, but it didn't affect the outcome.
